Sherwood Gardens is open everyday of the year from sun up to sun down, even on the holidays. Updated March 22, 2020: Due to the Governor’s Executive Order, Sherwood Gardens cannot host gatherings of 10 or more people. If you have any questions about the Governor’s Executive Order, please review the Order here.
The private gardens are open to the public and there is no entry fee.

Photo shoots, Picnics, and Other Events:
If you are interested in holding a photo shoot, a blanket picnic with 15 or more people, or some other event, please submit a request using our event request form. You may not hold an event or photo shoot without permission and may be asked to leave the gardens if you do not have proof of permission.

While the Sherwood Gardens Office will be closed in the upcoming weeks, we will be responding to calls and emails promptly and will be checking the physical mailbox every Monday – Friday. If you need to drop something off with us, please email us to schedule an appointment. We hope that you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe during this time.

The Gardens are managed and cared for by Stratford Green, Inc. with the assistance of the Guilford Association, Guilford residents and friends of the Gardens.
